Magical Nights – Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, A Place of Legends

Watch out, it’s a feast for the eyes! Every evening, the banks of the Sorgue will be bathed in colour during a ‘new-generation’ sound and light show organised by the Department. Entitled “Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Source of Legends”, it will explore the mysteries of the chasm from which the river springs and the myths surrounding this fascinating site, such as the nymph who guards the waters or the memorable battle between the fearsome Coulobre and Saint-Véran. This show will also offer beautiful glimpses across the department, highlighting several iconic sites, from Mont Ventoux to the City of the Popes, via the ochre hills of the Luberon…
