Les Agnels - Lavender and aromatic plant distillery

in Apt
  • An authentic, exceptional site in the heart of the Luberon. Demonstrations of distilling, watch as they distill lavender and learn about the secrets of essential oils.

  • Ancestral traditions et savoir-faire. It was back in 1895 that Mathieu Agnel gathered wild lavender in the hills around the hamlet, to distill it in a small still. Since that time, our family has passed his expertise and his passion for lavender and distillation.

Five generations of lavender distillers have worked here, and the reputation of our distillery continues to grow, recognised far and wide for the quality of its products, well beyond our region.

Ancestral traditions et savoir-faire.

Today we continue to perpetuate this tradition. We are now able to propose a visit of our farm and our artisanal distillation so as to share with our visitors our passion for our profession.

The distillery is well-equipped to distill all sorts of aromatic plants, citrus, gums and seeds for the professional sector and for individuals.
