A Rich Natural Heritage in a Preserved Area
Landscapes wild or organized by men's work, incomparable sites and heritage, fauna and flora rich in diversity have shaped the identity of the Luberon.
The Regional Nature Park, between the Alps and the Mediterranean created in 1977, perpetuates this identity by undertaking operations of environmental protection, regional planning and development of adapted activities.
At the first level of this former 17th century mansion, a permanent exhibition on the natural environments, habitats and villages of the Luberon, a reception area and shop and a garden for relaxation complete the facilities. In the vaulted cellars, the Museum of Geology, arranged in a very playful way, aims to inform, educate and teach without boring visitors.
