A "hidden" village in the Luberon
Coming to Apt, make a stop at the village of Goult. You will be charmed by this small village where nature and stones combine in perfect harmony.
You will stroll with pleasure in its small streets, you will love its vaulted passages, arcades, old doors and fine houses of stone and ocher.
You will also discover the remains of ancient ramparts and those of the castle of the Agoult family. Take time to visit the churches (in the village but also that of Notre Dame de Lumières, the Romanesque chapel of St Véran or the church St Sebastien). Do not miss, the Jerusalem mill or the wash-house.
During your tour, enjoy and rest on the squares, in the shade of the old hackberry trees before admiring the beautiful landscapes that surround the terraces of the Conservatory. You will see large olive groves, beautiful holm oaks, agricultural plantations surrounded by fine dry stone walls and you will have a superb panoramic view of the valleys of Calavon and Limergue.
